MindwaveAI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect your information when you use AI Skin Scan: Skincare Routine (the "App"), our websites, and our AI-powered services.
By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect

- Application usage information
- Crash logs and diagnostics
- IP address
- Language and region settings
- User-generated content (such as skin photos, skincare routines, products, and messages to the AI assistant)
3. AI Content Processing
To provide AI-powered skin analysis and the in-app AI skincare assistant, content submitted by users may be transmitted to and processed on servers owned and operated by MindwaveAI.
The content processed may include:
- Face and skin photos captured or uploaded by users
- Questions and text messages sent to the AI skincare assistant
- Skincare routine and product information users choose to include
- AI-generated skin insights and assistant responses
- Technical metadata required to generate the requested results
This information is used solely to generate and deliver results, improve service stability, and protect the security of the platform.
We do not sell user-generated content or personal information to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
4. Photo Uploads
When users take a guided skin photo or select a photo from their device, the photo is securely transmitted to MindwaveAI servers solely for the purpose of generating the skin analysis requested by the user.
Photos and analysis results are stored on our servers only temporarily, to process the request and return the result to the App. Uploaded photos and generated results are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours (1 day) after creation, unless a longer retention period is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Your scan history, used to compare visible changes over time, is saved on your device. You can delete scans from within the App at any time, and deleting the App removes data stored locally on your device.
Uploaded photos are never sold to third parties and are not used for advertising purposes.
5. User Consent for AI Processing
Before using AI skin analysis and assistant features, users are informed that photos and messages will be transmitted to MindwaveAI servers for processing.
By starting a skin scan or sending a message to the AI assistant, users consent to such processing for the purpose of providing the requested service.
5.1 Face Data Collection and Privacy
The App allows users to capture guided face photos with the device camera, or manually select photos from their device library, to receive cosmetic skin insights. These photos contain facial features ("Face Data").
- What Face Data We Collect: Photos captured or manually uploaded by the user that contain human faces, facial skin areas, and facial landmarks used to locate skin regions for analysis.
- Use of Face Data: Face Data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to MindwaveAI's dedicated, self-hosted servers solely for processing and generating the user-requested skin analysis. Face Data is used only to assess visible skin characteristics for cosmetic insights.
- Third-Party Sharing: We DO NOT sell, rent, share, or disclose Face Data to any third parties or third-party AI services. All processing occurs strictly within MindwaveAI's own infrastructure.
- Storage & Retention: Face Data is stored temporarily on our secure servers and is automatically deleted within 1 day (24 hours) after creation/processing. We do not use Face Data for user identification, facial recognition, tracking, or training public models.
6. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Generate AI skin analysis and assistant responses requested by users
- Provide and maintain our services, including routines, the daily tracker, and the product organizer
- Improve application performance
- Monitor usage and prevent abuse
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Protect platform security
- Comply with legal obligations
7. Data Sharing
MindwaveAI does not sell personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers necessary to operate our services, including:
- Cloud hosting providers
- Storage providers
- Analytics providers
- Security and fraud prevention providers
These providers may only process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect user information. Face Data is never shared with these providers or any other third parties, as described in Section 5.1.
8. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
- Messages sent to the AI assistant may be stored temporarily for service operation, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
- Uploaded photos are retained on our servers only for the time required to process the request and return the analysis result.
- Generated skin insights may be temporarily stored on our servers to deliver them to the App.
- Uploaded photos and generated results are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours (1 day) after creation.
We do not retain uploaded photos longer than necessary to provide the requested service.
9. Data Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of stored content and personal information at any time.

10. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
